Just imagine all the information found online. From universities, to information, to products to services and of course all the great reading. Major companies use the Internet to share their products, market products and create online bases for their businesses. The Internet is full of information. It's like a online university with millions of sites filled with data.

If you need it, you can find it online. From information, to products to services. Simply perform a word search on Google, Yahoo or other great search engines.

Daily I get all these emails that constantly attack our government and governmental leaders. Daily I read content on line that also attacks our government and governmental leaders. OK, so maybe things are not going well. Maybe the economy is bad. Maybe jobs are becoming harder to find. We all see these things and we have seen them before. However, what good is there in slandering people, judging people and just flat out slamming people. What good does that do? And even worse, why not address the person rather than slamming them online and through emails to others.

Pray for our government and governmental leaders and if you disagree with them, fine, take the time to write them a letter and express your thoughts with integrity.

Friday, October 2nd, 09. Filipinos are bracing for more strong powerful winds and rains from a second typhoon in just eight days. News reports share that ten's of thousands are fleeing from low lying areas and that cleanup operations have been suspended in the flooded capital area. It seems that more potential destruction is on the way as mother nature takes another turn.

Please pray for the people of the Philippines, that God would intervene and that lives would be saved.

There are many that see God as this Holy Righteous God of judgement. God is Holy, Righteous and a God of judgment, however God is also a God of love, mercy, forgiveness and compassion. When God sent Jesus to die on the cross for the sins of the world, God made a way for us to receive forgiveness. When we except the fact that Christ died on the cross for our sins and that through Christ we have forgiveness of sins, we start to understand and see that God is a God of love, mercy, forgiveness and compassion. Now that's good news!

Let us seek the God of forgiveness.

There are some great social blogs and networks out there. Of course there are also times when debates unfold and things get somewhat nasty. And as with all online stuff, there's the down right ugly. Social networking can be fun, a great way to stay in contact with friends, family and also meet others online. There are also some great Christian sites out there that are very well maintained and there's a lot less ruff talk and down right nasty posts and comments on the Christian sites. However and again, there are some intense scriptural and religious debates that do unfold.

I love blogs. I can share openly, place posts on various topics and also moderate the comments. Over the years I have had to reject only a small portion of the comments I have received. I have a forum that I finally had to literally moderate all registrations just to stop all the spamers, most of which were pornography sites.

I guess it boils down to the fact that there's the good, the bad and the downright ugly out there. Whatever your social networking likes and dislikes are, be wise and please safe guard your children from all the potential negative content.
